DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., February 3, 2016 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced today that Acer, a global leader in computers, software and technology services, has renewed as Official Marketing Partner in the LPGA family and will continue as the Official Tablet of the LPGA this tournament season.
As an Official Marketing Partner for the LPGA, Acer is bringing “Technology to the Tee” at every domestic LPGA event. Players and caddies will have the ability on each tee box to view an Acer tablet with a current leaderboard to see exactly where they stand in competition. The popular Acer Iconia Tab 8 is the Official Tablet that will be used on each tee box during domestic tournaments this season.
In addition to Acer tablets on the tees this season, fans can follow each hole-in-one and enter to win a sweepstakes on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #AcedIt. Winners will be selected to win an Acer Aspire prize package after every hole-in-one starting March 17 at the JTBC Founders Cup and running through the CME Group Tour Championship in November.
